24ft Motor Boat 'CURLEW II'

 

"Curlew II" was designed and built by us about seven years ago for owners in Ontario.  She was used for summer cruising on the B.C. coast for three seasons then shipped east when I moved my operation to Shelburne Nova Scotia. Since then she has been stored and maintained by us for the same owners and used for explorations on the south shore of Nova Scotia.

This a well built boat of double planked western red cedar with all exterior surfaces sheathed in glass and epoxy for minimum maintenance.   She was built for economical long range cruising for two people.   Top speed is 9 knots and she cruises at 7knots.  Engine hours are still low (350).  She is fully equipped and comes with a large 9ft dinghy and 2HP Honda outboard.
